Document Description
The proposed project is the replacement of the porch structure with in kind materials to repair damage to the porch. The structure is a reconstruction of a historic building completed by DPR in 1957. The roof structure will not be affected or disturbed. The floor broads and joists will be replaced with in kind materials. Two of the three posts will be replaced. Materials will be fastened with modern screws which will be covered by period square nails and/or wood plugs. All exposed wood will be treated and painted to match the original structure.
