- Document Description
- United Water Conservation District proposes to replace a restroom facility (and associated septic system) at the Piru Recreation Area. The existing restroom facility does not meet ADA requirements. United proposes to demolish the existing Oak Lane restroom and replace it with a new structure that will be located approximately 70 feet to the south (just across the parkway) of the existing structure. Fixtures in the existing structure include 2 sinks, 3 toilets and one shower on the women's side; and 3 sinks, 2 toilets, 1 urinal, and 1 shower on the men's side. The proposed upgraded structure will include 2 sinks, 3 toilets, and 2 showers on the women's side; and 2 sinks, 1 toilet, 2 urinals, and 2 showers on the men's side. The new change will be a reduction of 1 sink and 1 toilet, and an addition of 1 urinal and 2 showers. The square footage of the proposed structure may be slightly larger than the exisitng structure due to the additional room requied for wheelchair accessibility.
