American Canyon Circulation Element Update

The City of American Canyon is updating the Circulation Element of its General Plan, the policy document that guides future transportation investments in the city. The State of California requires every city and county have a comprehensive general plan, identifying current and future needs and establishing policy direction for seven different subject areas, of which circulation is one. American Canyon's updated Circulation Element includes a proposed roadway system for the build out year of 2035. a list of improvements and policies pertaining to the creation of Complete Streets, circulation system enhancements, public transportation, good movement, pedestrian and bicycle mobility, and rail and air service.
