Note: Reference SCH# 1992073004 The City proposes to adopt the San Jose/Santa Clara WPCP Master Plan (Master Plan) and to amend the San Jose General Plan and Zoning Ordinance to ensure that existing and proposed onsite uses are consistent with the City's land use goals, policies and designations. The Master Plan includes a variety of long-range improvements to the WPCP's facilities and operations over the next 30 years (through the year 2040). The Master Plan also includes the phased development of the surrounding lands, including the creation and restoration of habitats and natural corridors to support wildlife, parks and amenities to foster a greater connection between the community and the coastal environment, as well as commercial, retail, and light industrial development.
