Document Description
The Rio Alto Water District is currently under the terms of a Cease and Desist Order R5-2010-0104 issued in September 2010 by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board, (Region 5R). Under the terms of the Order, a compliance schedule and interim effluent limits allow Rio Alto five years in which to evaluate potential alternatives, secure funding, and complete necessary improvements before final effluent limits go into effect.
