Document Description
The Rio Alto Water District is proposing to improve the treatment capabilities of the Lake CA Wastewater Treatment Plant and to convert from discharge of treated effluent to the Sacramento River to land-based disposal, in which the water would be reclaimed to create constructed wetlands. The District proposes to implement the proposed project through treatment plant improvements, installation of ~12,000 lineal feet of reclaimed-water pipeline, and construction of a ~77-acre wetland area.
