FRWLP consists of improvements to approx. 41 miles of the Feather River west levee from Thermalito Afterbay in Butte County downstream to approx. 4 miles upstream of the confluence with the Sutter Bypass. The FRWLP will provide higher levels of flood protection to local communities and rural lands. The Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency has completed construction of approx. 36 miles of the FRWLP. The Board has entered into a Project Partnership Agreement with USACE to construct the remaining 4.9 miles of Feather River west levee improvements from Tudor Road near Star Bend downstream to Cypress Ave.
