Reasons for Exemption
Department staff made a finding that a Categorical Exemption, 14 CCR, Section 15301 – Existing Facilities will be adequate for the Department’s concurrence of this revised SWFP. Staff’s finding is based on review of facility operating documentation and a memorandum provided by the operator indicating that the C&D Chipping and Grinding Activity occurring in the expansion area has been occurring on site under the previous permit and is therefore not a new activity.
