- Document Description
- Lake County Sanitation District's Southeast Regional Wastewater Collection System currently serves nearly 7,400 single-family dwelling equivalents in the Clearlake and Lower Lake areas. The capacity of the collection system has been exceeded several times in recent years during wet-weather flow conditions. The District is proposing a new 1,570-gpm lift station at LS4 and approximately 4.7 miles of 12-inch force main from LS4 to the Southeast Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project also includes a connection between LS1 and the new force main. Construction of the lift station and force main is proposed to begin in the summer of 2011 and extend into the summer of 2012. The force main will be installed first so that the new lift station can be brought on line with limited service interruption.
