The Specific Plan Area encompasses approximately 350 acres in the northeast portion of the city, generally bounded at the west by University Avenue; at the north by a rail line that crosses the Bay on a drawbridge; and at the south by Weeks Street. The Specific Plan is intended to serve as the primary document and reference guide for future development and redevelopment of Ravenswood and 4 Corners. The Specific Plan would permit a mix of office, retail, industrial, R&D, single-family and multi-family residential, civic/community, and open space uses within the Plan Area. The City's General Plan will be amended for consistency with the Specific Plan.
