Document Description
The City of Atascadero Public Works Department proposes the construction of a new transit center adjacent to the Colony Square development and the existing City Hall. The new transit center will replace the existing Regional Transit Authority of San Luis Obispo County (RTA) and Atascadero Transit (North County Shuttle) bus stop and shelter at Capistrano Avenue and Lewis Avenue. The proposed transit center would include accommodations for three on-street angled bus parking, and two feet bus shelters. Additional improvements include new streetscape sidewalks, lighting, and street trees. Additional bicycle racks for commuters and transit kiosks will be installed.
