The approximately 15.75-acre site is located south of the 105 freeway, north of West Compton and east of the Athens communities in the unincorporated Willowbrook area of Los Angeles County. The property would be turned over to the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation to become part of the adjoining Earvin magic Johnson Park.
