Document Description
The project is proposed at the UCSD Medical Center on the East Campus. The project consists of two discrete facilities - the Clinical and Translational Research Institute (CTRI) and the East Campus Recreational Area (ECRA) - on separate but adjacent sites. The CTRI facility would be ~360,000 gross sf (GSF) of new construction to support the Health Sciences research activities. The ECRA would provide additional recreation facilities, including a new athletic field, jogging path and golf practice area, in proximity to existing UCSD recreation uses on the East Campus. An expansion of the existing East Campus Utility Plant (ECUP) and associated improvements would also be included as part of the proposed project.
