Document Description
The Project includes construction of new (or widening of existing) sidewalks along a portion of Manning Avenue, an arterial roadway running in an east-west direction through the downtown section of the City of Reedley, between Buttonwillow and Frankwood Avenues. The Project area includes a variety of land uses, including vacant lots, residential use, commercial and professional offices, and a private school. Current sidewalks range from three to nine and one-half feet in width, with some parcels having no existing sidewalk: the City's zoning ordinance requires a ten-foot wide sidewalk. Ramps to allow access by those with disabilities will also be installed at street corners in compliance with ADA requirements.
