- General Plan Amendment and Zone Change on a 7.90 acre portion of a 13.66 acre project site from Residential to Public - Public Facilities; the development of three (3) lighted soccer/football fields with artificial turf, a tot lot, restrooms and concession stand; the relocation of the existing Community Gardens and Horseshoe Club Facilities. The existing Seniors Center/Community Center and Wireless Communication Facility will remain in their current location. Two new parking lots are proposed totaling ~207 spaces. The parking lot accessed from Cypress Avenue would have ~153 spaces; the parking lot accessed from Oleandor Avenue would have ~54 spaces. The existing Community Center in the southeast corner of the site will remain and would have ~107 additional parking spaces, for an overall project are total of ~314 spaces.
