Document Description
The project consists of roadway improvements to a one-mile segment of Cypress Ave, an existing two-lane roadway in South Fontana. The improvements would be confined to the segment between Jurupa and Slover Ave. The project would widen the roadway to provide two lanes in each direction. Curbs, gutters, and sidewalks on each side of the street and a center median with left-turn lanes at intersections would also be provided. The ultimate right-of-way width would be 78 feet from Slover Ave. to Santa Ana Ave and 92 feet from Santa Ana Ave to Jurupa Ave, requiring acquisition of up to 16 feet from abutting parcels. Storm drainage facilities would be extended approximately 1/4 mile south from Slover Ave to complete the storm drain line along Cypress Ave. Additionally utility line relocations would be provided within the planned right-of-way.
