Document Description
Day use trailhead entrance and parking lot will be built on the corner of Friant Road and Flemming Road within and adjacent to the San Joaquin Hatchery property approximately 1 mile downstream of Friant Dam. A paved universal accessible trail and a stairway will traverse the bluff and continue through the west edge of the San Joaquin Hatchery grounds and connect to the San Joaquin Parkway Trail at Lost Lake Park Recreation Area. This is a public access, education and outreach project, providing a unique educational destination along the Parkway trail. The parking lot and associated trailhead facilities occupy approximately 2 acres, and the trail is approximately 1 mile in length and will be approximately 12 feet in width.
