Document Description
This project will utilize volunteer crews to repair small sections of trail in an area just north of Palm Wash within the Notches area at Ocotillo Wells SVRA. The repairs will consist of leveling sections of trail out so that stock vehicles can travel safety through the area. Volunteers will use material scraped off the surface of the bottom of the trail in areas that have an almost ninety degree slope, and then lay and compact the material for long term stability. No excavation holes or pits will be created. Approximately eight sections of trail would be repaired and would account for approximately ten lineal feet of trail. Volunteers will use hand tools and a Kubota tractor.
