Document Description
The proposed Project would repair a lateral scour gully along the left bank (looking downstream) of Walters Creek. The gully is approximately 23 feet long, 5 feet wide, and 3 feet deep. A toe trench would be cut at the base of the gully, immediately outside the wetted channel. Quarter-ton rock slope protection (RSP) would be installed in the toe trench, with additional RSP, smaller rocks, gravel, and placed in the gully. After compacting the site, a live pole drain consisting of willow limbs would be placed on the surface and buried. The site would be vegetated with willow cuttings and other vegetation for stability. Equipment to be used includes a bobcat or similar tractor, dump truck, and hand tools.
