The proposed Project would repair a lateral scour gully along the left bank (looking downstream) of Walters Creek. The gully is approximately 23 feet long, 5 feet wide, and 3 feet deep. A toe trench would be cut at the base of the gully, immediately outside the wetted channel. Quarter-ton rock slope protection (RSP) would be installed in the toe trench, with additional RSP, smaller rocks, gravel, and placed in the gully. After compacting the site, a live pole drain consisting of willow limbs would be placed on the surface and buried. The site would be vegetated with willow cuttings and other vegetation for stability.
