Document Description
The approximate 20.67 acre site extends further north beyond the residence/ranch headquarters to an undeveloped hillside. The southern portion of the site is also undeveloped and extends across Sweetwater River channel. Currently, the site is used for free-rnage chicken farming and as a residence. The site is located adjacent to Cuyamaca Rancho State Park in Descanso and the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) seeks to acquire the site in order to enhance the Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. At this time, DPR does not have a plan to improve the site and once acquired, the farming operation would not continue.
