Document Description
SAA #1600-2011-0122-R6 The proposed project is to conduct a geotechnical investigation to obtain design information for the Owens Lake Phase 8 Dust Control Measures Project. There are a total of 55 exploration locations proposed for the geotechnical investigation wtihin the Phase 8 project areas A and B on Owens Lake. There will be 26 locations along the perimeter berm road and Corridor 1 Road, as well as 29 interior locations. Exploration locations shall be conducted in areas where there will not be disturbance to vegetation. Work is proposed to begin in April 2011, and end in August 2011 and is expected to take up to 150 days to complete. All equipment and testing equipement including but not limited to piles/footings and assorted weights will be removed from the Study Area.
