Document Description
Under this project, TRPA will coordinate with the Tahoe Resource Conservation District (TRCD) to focus on areas that the Lake Tahoe Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) has shown as "Hot: spots of pollutants including fire sediments (,16 microns particle size) and Nitrogen and Phosphorus), and verified on-site by the local jurisdictions as being directly connected to surface water, At least 350 property owners will receive a notification letter from the TRPA to install BMPs, and the TRCD will provide technical assistance follow-uo (using seperate funding sources). It is assumed that many of those properties will have dirt driveways and need a BMP Retrofit permit (free to the public) to pave a parking pad.
