Note: Review Per Lead Under Title XVII Of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the US Department of Energy is proposing to provide a Federal loan guarantee to Mojave Solar, LLC to support construction of a new 250 MW commercial solar generation facility in unincorporated San Bernardino County, California. The proposed project would also include facilities to distribute the solar power to the electric grid, including fiber-optic telecommunication lines linking various substations in the region. Because approximately 17 miles of the proposed 85-mile fiber optic network across lands managed by the Bureau of Land management (BLM), BLM is a cooperating agency in the preparation of the EA.
