The proposed project would consist of a combination of measures to restore riparian habitat on approximately 400 acres of the Riparian Sanctuary, which is currently dominated by non-native plants with poor wildlife habitat vales, and protect the banks of the Sacramento River in the vicinity of the Riparian Sanctuary in order to protect the PCGID-PID pumping plant and fish screen facility. Three action alternatives for restoration and bank stabilization are evaluated in the EIS/EIR.
