The Project involves developing approximately 817 miles of fiber-based infrastructure. Approximately 723 miles of the proposed route would require new construction. The proposed Project will be limited to areas within the established right-of-way of existing streets but the proposed Project route crosses numerous stream and canals.
The project would involve construction of new fiber optic conduit. The conduit would be placed in the ground and later the fiber optic cables would be strung through the conduit via manholes and vaults constructed with the conduit.
