Document Description
The Fiber Optic Project consists of installing, operating, and maintaining a fiber optic communications network in the northern Sacramento Valley, northern Sierra Nevada foothills, and northern and southern San Joaquin Valley. The proposed network would provide high-speed broadband access capabilities for 17 counties. Approximately 723 miles of the new fiber optic conduit will be installed along road right-of-way and an additional 94 miles of new fiber will be isntalled in existing conduit and will not involve ground disturbance.
