Document Description
The proposed project would involve constructing and operating a facility to collect organic waste that would otherwise be field-applied or hauled to a landfill, and processing the waste using anaerobic digestion to produce renewable natural gas (biomethane or biogas) that would be used as a source of energy for distribution to the Sonoma County Water Agency (Water Agency) and Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E). Solids generated in the process would be used to produce commercially viable fertilizer.
