Document Description
The I-80 ICM project proposes the installation of operational improvements and the use of an intelligent Transportation System (ITS), along a 19.5 -mile portion of I-80, from the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge Toll Plaza to the Carquinez Bridge. ITS is a combination of computer and communication technologies that make transportation systems operate more efficiently and safely.
