The proposed project involves resurfacing a deteriorated section of Bald Hills Road between post miles 10.1 and 13.4. Other road improvement elements of the proposed project include installation or replacement of culverts, removal of roadside berms, ditch reconstruction, dike installation, and paved turnouts that will improve road drainage and increase safety. The proposed project stabilizes the roadway which will create safer road conditions, reduce road maintenance needs, and reduce dust generation, erosion, and sediment runoff.
