Document Description
The project is part of the City of San Mateo's overall sewer line alignment project that will increase in size an existing 18-inch sewer line to a 24-inch sewer line approximately 1200 feet long along El Cerrito Avenue and Tilton Avenue to carry sewage flow from the Town of Hillsborough. The overall project also includes construction of a new 27 or 30-inch sewer pipeline approximately 9000 feet long in a new alignment that will ultimately be discharged into the South Trunk sewer system at Idaho Street and Sunnybrea Boulevard. The project covered under the Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number: 1600-2014-0160-R3, CDFW is executing pursuant to Section 1602 Fish and Game Code, is limited to the new pipe alignment crossing at San Mateo Creek at 800 East 3rd Avenue. The pipeline will be installed at the crossing of San Mateo Creek using Pilot Tube Guided Auger Boring construction methods.
