The existing 6-inch diameter transite (asbestos cement) water line is unreliable due to age and does not provide sufficient peak and emergency water flows. The line will be replaced by approximately 4,400 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC pipeline with three fire hydrants, The water transmission main will connect the water tank to the District water treatment plant.
