Document Description
As lead agency, the East Bay Regional Park District has prepared this Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) to address the environmental impacts of the proposed Land Use Plan Amendment (Project) in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act. The Project recommends multiple improvements within the Alvarado Park Recreation / Staging Unit (Alvarado Park) for Wildcat Canyon Regional Park, to increase parking capacity within the existing staging area and improve pedestrian circulation and access within the park. The improvements are expected to provide better accessiblity for all and provide safer conditions for pedestrians and motorists within the adjacent to the park.
