Document Description
The project area is zoned RR2 (Rural Residential - 2 acre minimum lot size). The location is the site of an existing rock quarry known as the "Hole Pit". The operator of the site has submitted an application to expand the quarry from approximately 27-acres to include additional 18-acres for a total disturbed area of approximately 45-acres. Uses associated with the rock quarry (i.e. processing, stockpiling, etc.) will continue to be located onsite. The existing Loren Avenue road must be relocated around the perimeter of the expanded quarry.
