Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0244-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, the Caltrans as represented by Sutha Suthahar. The proposed project will provide High Occupancy Vehicle lanes in each direction by constructing additional lanes from 1.1 miles south of elk Grove Blvd. to south of the I-5/US 50 interchange. Beach Lake Bridge at Morrison Creek, will require widening to the inside combining each pair of structures into its own single span to accommodate the additional lanes proposed by this project. Construction access, equipment operation, mowing, and vegetation clearing are expected to occur within the seasonal wetland areas directly underneath the I-5 bridges during the course of widening the structure towards the median and the entire area of seasonal wetlands under the I-5 bridges will be assumed to be temporarily impacted.
