Document Description
The Lost Coast Brewery is proposing a General Plan Amendment, Zone Reclassification, Text Amendment, CUP, and Lot-Line Adjustment for a new craft brewery facility in Eureka. This would allow the Lost Coast Brewery to relocate and expand its existing brewery operations currently located on West Third Street, while retaining the existing Lost Coast Brewery and Cafe located on Fourth Street in downtown Eureka.
The Eureka City Council accepted the Lost Coast Brewery's General Plan and Zone Reclassification, Petition request on May 4, 2010, thereby authorizing the applicant to submit an application to amend the City's General Plan and zoning designation to commercial use at the project site. APN 019-341-002 has a current General Plan designation of Public-Quasi Public (PQP) and is zoned Public (P), while APN 019-211-001 currently has a General Plan designation of PQP and is zoned Service Commercial. The proposed General Plan amendment would re-classify both parcels in the project site to General Service Commercial, and the proposed zoning amendment would reclassify LLA Parcel 1 to CS, consistent with the zoning on APN 019-211-001.
