A NOC was previously submitted for this project in May 2011; however an issue with the detour plan caused a hold on the project. This Notice includes the revised detour plan.
Lake County Public Works Department proposes to replace the existing bridge over Cole Creek with a new pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete voided slab bridge supported by reinforced concrete wall abutments in the same location as the existing bridge. The project is proposed due to inadequate hydraulic conveyance of flood flows. High flows commonly overtop the road approaches, causing road closures and delays. The project site is located approximately 400 feet west of the intersection of Soda Bay Road and Clark Drive, near the community of Kelseyville. The project will involve a temporary detour to redirect traffic along Clark Drive and Gaddy Lane during construction.
