As proposed, an ordinance entitled "Chapter 6.26: disposable Bag Reduction" would be added to Title 6 of the Fort Bragg Municipal Code. The ordinance has the following general provisions: 1. It would become effective 12 months after adoption and would apply to businesses operating within the City limits of Fort Bragg. 2. Plastic single-use carry-out bags will be prohibited. 3. Stores will be required to make reusable grocery bags available for purchase.
