- The approx. 14-acre site currently contains the Foothill Square retail and commercial mixed-use center originally constructed in the early 1960s. The Foothill Square center consists of five buildings housing 156,822 of commercial space, although much of this space is underutilized at present. The proposed Project involves redevelopment of this site to construct a new, this space is underutilized at present. The proposed Project involves redevelopment of the site to construct a new, contemporary commercial center containing up to 200,916 sf of retail and commercial space. The mix of commercial tenants within the center includes at 71,950 sf FoodsCo. grocery store and a 24,400 sf Ross department store in addition to other retail, restaurant, office uses and a new gas station. Existing uses, including the DaVita Hemodialysis Clinic, an adult day health care facility, a bingo hall and a Head Start childcare center will remain on site, though relocated or reconfigured to some degree.
