The proposed project would: 1) modify the existing Historical and Cultural Ordinance; 2) request a conditional use permit to allow redevelopment of facilities, parking, landscaping, and other improvements within the existing entry complex area; and 3) request a conditional use permit to allow The Huntington to exceed maximum daily vehicle counts on 12 days per year, exceed standard operation hours 4 times per year, and to allow larger outdoor events with amplified sound to be conducted only in certain areas of the site. The total increase in above ground floor area would be ~43,000 sf. The total site area proposed for redevelopment is ~ 26.8 acres of the 207 acre Huntington property. The proposed project would not materially change existing activities or attendance at The Huntington.'
