Document Description
The channel clearing project entails removal of fine sediments that have accumulated within the bed of the channel of the unnamed tributary. When the water course is dry, by use of an excavator with a "paddle wheel" attached to the front, 600-700 yards of fine sediments will be removed from the channel, while leaving the four to six inches of gravel in the streambed. The banks shall not be distrubed except at previously established locations for the machinery to enter the watercourse. The material removed from the creek shall be spread along a driveway and in a location where it shall not re-enter the watercourse. Work within the channel shall not exceed 60 work days.
