Document Description
Improve the existing facilities at Auburn State Recreation Area to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and meet requirements in the "California State Parks Accessibility Guidelines". Work will:
* Remove asphalt, excavate, and add rock to reshape and outslope for drainage a 625 square foot area around the pay station.
* Excavate 6" deep by 4' wide to pour concrete walkway across the gravel road.
* Excavate to install rock retaining wall footing, build a rock retaining wall, add approximately 185 cubic yards of fill, and pour concrete to construct an approximately 500 square foot parking area and excavate to install a 30' long guardrail at the Quarry Trail head.
* Excavate to remove approximately 450 linear feet of soil berm to improve drainage.
