Document Description
This is an invasive warmwater fish population reduction project designed to reduce the reproducing population of invasive warmwater fish in Lake Tahoe, CA. Active removal methods (electrofishing and gillnetting) will be used to remove fish prior to spawning in an effort to reduce the population of invasive warmwater fish in Lake Tahoe. Removal of invasive warmwater fish will enhance habitat for native and coldwater sport fishes already present in Lake Tahoe.
