Document Description
The development of 36 new affordable housing units (12 one bedroom units, 12 two bedroom units, and 12 three bedroom units) on approximately 2.2 acres of land within the City of Escondido. The project consists of three, two-story residential buildings and a single-story community building. A density bonus is proposed in accordance with California Government Code Section 65915 (State Affordable Housing Density Bonus Code) for a 35 percent increase in the allowable density above the Urban II General Plan land-use designation, which allows up to 12 dwelling units per acre. The overall density of the proposed project is 16.2 dwelling units per acre.
