Document Description
This project will involve the installation of an archway/entrance sign placed at the main entrance of the Pismo State Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove. The purpose of this sign is to prodce a professional and identifiable area of Pismo State Beach that is recognized nationally for its natural and cultural importance. The sign will be 11 feet in height and 8 feet in width. The 2 wooden poles that will attach the sign will go 5 feet down into the soil. Each hole dug for the poles will be 12 inches in diameter and will contain roughly 5 bags of concrete to hold the poles in place. All will be in compliance with ADA laws. USA North will be contacted to make sure that no underground wires or pipes are in the proposed construction site.
