SAA # 1600-2011-0068-R6 Install a geomembrane liner along the upstream face of the dam to block leaks and prevent future leaks. South Lake is drained annually and will not be allowed to refill. A 40 foot wide work area along the entire length of the base of the exposed dam will be utilized. Natural inflow of Bishop Creek will pass through the reservoir and the required flow will be released from the dam. The dam face will be cleaned of loose materials and inspected for any necessary concrete repairs. The geomembrane will then be installed using swingstages and minimal scaffolding. Upon completion of work, the reservoir will be refilled.
