Document Description
The Project entails the demolition of an existing sidewalk and a concrete swale on top of the bank of Arana Gulch and replacing it with an approximately 75 linear-foot sidewalk, a retaining wall with stairs, fence and handrail, and a drainage catch basin and storm drain pipe with an energy dissipater. A three inch minimum drain pipe and flared end section will outfall to the new catch basin and energy dissipater on the southwest side in the location where surface runoff currently sheet flows off the street and down a concrete swale. Rip rap material, of which 50% will be larger than six inches in diameter, will be positioned on a six-foot long by six-foot wide filter fabric. The rip rap material will be approximately one foot deep. SAA #1600-2010-0357-R3.
