Juniper Split Rail Fence Installation
NOE - Notice of Exemption
Install 300 linear feet of wooden split rail fence between restroom and rock outcrop parallel to the road to prevent erosion at Juniper Campground in Mount Diablo State Park. Work will excavate to install 2 posts approximately 24 inches deep and 5 inches wide every 7-8 feet and build the fence. Additionally, work will install signage on the fence warning visitors to keep out of fragile areas.
Project consists of new construction of small structures included as "fencing" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's (DPR) list of exempt activities, in accordance with CCR 15300.4 and the minor public alterations in the condition of land and/or vegetation which does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees.
