Document Description
Secure the Scottish Granite Monument back to its pedestal and preserve the 100 year old Monument at Robert Louis Stevenson State Park to ensure visitor safety and maintain the historic monument. Work will clean, secure, and stabilize the Scottish Granite back to its original base using thin set concrete; refurbish and paint letters to make it easier to read. No re-carving of letters will occur. Methods and materials used in the restoration process will be thoroughly decumented.
