Document Description
The area subject to this response action is approximately 3.8-acres in the southern portion of the 9.36-acre existing Hillview Middle School.
The RAW focuses on excavation and removal to mitigate soils impacted with excessive levels of the organchlorine pesticide chlodane detected in soils within several planter boxes located on the exterior of the Administration Wing A, Library/Lab Wing B, classroom Wing C West End, Classroom Wing C East End, and Classroom Wing D East End areas of the Site within the southern portion of the campus. The purpose of the response action is to mitigate impacted soils that exceed the project-specific human health risk criteria to minimiz humman exposure to the identified chemicals of cocern (COC).
