Applicant seeks a water right to continue to collect surface water to four existing reservoirs for the purposes of fish and wildlife enhancement, fire protection and other (sediment control). The largest reservoir was originally used for local mining purposes but has been discontinued, but its existence and maintenance are required by the State Division of Mines and Geology as part of the Surface Mining and Reclamation Act maintenance and reporting program. THe reservoirs have been in existence for more than forty years.
